Not Everyone at the Beach Is Thinking About Tanning

The smell of sunscreen, the sound of the waves, and the ice cream craving.

You're at the beach. While other people think about tanning. You’re thinking about toilets. About sitting down too long. About standing up too fast. About hiding it if something happens.

And it’s hot.

And everything’s visible.

And you start calculating... "How long can I be here before it’s too risky?"

Fear of the Beach? Not Quite.

You start to panic, and all your mind can think about is the worst-case scenario. It's not a fear of the beach, but what might happen at the beach.

Breathe.

These thoughts are perfectly normal to have, and you're probably not the only one on the beach with their mind racing.

And if something happens? So what.

You don’t need fixing. You don’t need to hide. You just need something that works, that keeps you protected, without the bulk, without the stress.

Don't Make It Worse.

Although you may think that avoiding drinking anything will help you, it won't. If anything, this does quite the opposite. Dehydration makes your urine more concentrated, consequently becoming an irritant to your bladder. Not to mention, you're at the beach, it's hot, you need to hydrate.

The key truly is to just be mindful of what you drink alcohol, for example, might trigger your bladder, and while that doesn't mean you can't enjoy a beverage, it just means to be mindful and moderate yourself wherever you can.

The Day Is Yours.
